Common questions
How does the recipient redeem their gift card?
Recipients book their appointment online through our normal booking system at any of our clinic locations across Melbourne and Regional Victoria. A small security deposit may be required at the time of booking to secure their appointment, and this deposit is refunded when they present their gift card code at the appointment for payment. For Scan-Van requests, recipients submit the request form on our request page. Gift card balances can also be utilised to cover additional call-out fees where applicable.
What services can the gift card be used for?
Any service we offer. InBody 970 body composition scans, ECAL metabolic tests, or any combination. Recipients can choose whichever option suits them best when they book.
Does the gift card expire?
No. Get Scanned gift cards never expire (well, unless Steve does!). Recipients can use them whenever it suits them, and any remaining balance stays on their account for future appointments.
Can the gift card be used across multiple appointments?
Yes. If the gift card value is more than a single service, the remaining balance stays as credit on the recipient’s name for future scans. They can spread their gift across as many appointments as they like.
What if the appointment costs more than the gift card value?
The recipient simply pays the difference at the time of their appointment. The gift card covers as much as it can, and the remaining amount is settled like any normal payment.
Can I check the balance on an existing gift card?
Yes. You can check the current balance of any Get Scanned gift card online at any time.
