    Schedule your InBody Composition Analysis Scan, ECAL Metabolic Test, or combine these two great services for an even more comprehensive health assessment

    Preparing for

    InBody

    • DON’T eat or exercise (and minimise fluid intake) in the 2-3 hours before your scan.
    • DON’T have hot showers, saunas or ice baths immediately before your scan.

    • MINIMISE alcohol or unusual caffeine intake for at least 24 hours.
    • MINIMISE use of lotion or ointment on your hands and feet that won’t easily wipe off.
    • DO maintain your normal fluid intake the day before.
    • DO use the restroom before your scan.
    • DO wear minimal, comfortable clothing to your appointment. Avoid wearing heavy accessories like jewellery, watches, and jackets while on scanner.

     

    Preparing for

    ECAL

    • DON’T consume alcohol or illicit drugs, and avoid caffeine intake for at least 12 hours before your test.
    • DON’T exercise or perform other strenuous physical activity for at least 12 hours before your test.
    • DON’T eat or drink anything, except water for between 4 and 12 hours before your test. If on insulin, adjust accordingly.
    • DON’T have hot/cold showers, saunas or ice baths, etc. in the 4 hours before your test.
    • DO (drink water as normal, up to the time of your test, however if booking both ECAL & InBody services, minimise water intake for the final 2 hours before your appointment).
    • DO take prescription medications as normal.
